The primary mission of the SSPC Ambassador program is to welcome, connect and engage prospects in addition to new and existing members in an effort to create a valuable Chamber experience for all members. This prestigious group of hand-selected individuals helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting the SSPC and its purpose.
Ambassadors attend Chamber functions and serve to greet & engage members at Chamber events such as monthly Business After Hours, Coffee Clubs, ribbon cuttings and grand openings, and other Chamber events (i.e. Expo’s, membership luncheons, etc.). Ambassadors are the first contact that new members have upon joining the SSPC of Commerce.
The Ambassadors will achieve the mission statement by attending Chamber functions and serving SSPC members. The Ambassador Committee shall consistently serve as direct representatives of the Chamber, and, therefore should be familiar with all Chamber policies and procedures regarding membership information. The Ambassador Committee shall act as an ongoing membership development committee whose goal is to consistently communicate with new, existing and potential Chamber members.
The Ambassador Program consists of a prestigious group of dedicated diverse volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to assist the Chamber in various activities. Being selected as an Ambassador is a position of great esteem and a strong sense of pride in being hand selected to represent the chamber. Each Ambassador is asked to serve a term of one calendar year, beginning in January of each year. Ambassadors may be invited to serve after the one-year term if selected by the Chamber.
